At 5pm on Friday 9th April, without any prior consultation or warning, the Government guidance changed to list Adult Go-Karting as an activity that cannot re-open until 17th of May. Until this date we had been given assurances by the National Karting Association and Environmental Health that it was safe and legal to re-open as planned on the 12th of April.
We therefore regret to inform you that Rogue Racing is currently not taking bookings for dates before 17th May
We understand how frustrating this news is to our customers, especially those that already had bookings with us over this period where we must now close. Also to our incredible staff who have worked hard to get our venues safe and ready for your return.
We are extremely disappointed that the Government has changed the guidance with less than 1 working day’s notice and with no prior consultation or warning. What is even more disappointing is that our venue is incredibly safe due to the nature of PPE, ventilation, and building size, even before the additional measures were put in place to keep you safe whilst with us.
We will be contacting everyone who has booked to reschedule your booking. We really do appreciate your patience and support for our charity during this difficult time and are seeking clarity on what children’s activities we are allowed to continue with safely at our venues.
Keeping you safe
